On May 20th thirty six Alexandra Kazickas Lithuanian School students ended their school year. This year school had three graduates, Vesta Visockas, Lukas Baumilas and Greta Dirzyte. During the end of year ceremony students, teachers, parents and friends celebrated school's accomplishments.

In spring five current students, as well as two school's graduates, together with more that 160 young people all around the globe took Lithuanian Language Proficiency Test for youth. This test was created by Vilnius University, initiated by the Kazickas Family Foundation and a group of Lithuanian Heritage Schools of the US with a big help from the Ministry of Education and Science of Lithuania. Youth that pass it, receive Vilnius University diploma. A. Kazickas Lithuanian School is very proud of it's students. They all passed the test and received such diplomas. Few older students already submitted such diploma together with additional paperwork to their current high schools in the US and received 1-3 high school credits for Lithuanian as a heritage/foreign language. School also thanks the teachers who tested the students. They were trained at the special seminar, sponsored by the Kazickas Family Foundation, in Boston. Two school's teachers, Renata Petrauskiene and Ramune Kurbanoviene, went through such training and received official VU certificates allowing them to test the students.
School also is excited to share that after many years of planning, finally adult class was established. Currently it has three students and hopefully more will join in the years to come.
