Camp Neringa

Neringa is a Lithuanian cultural camp founded by the Sisters of the Immaculate Conception in 1969. For over 45 years Neringa has served thousands of children and families in various camp sessions with the mission to foster understanding and love for Lithuanian heritage, teach Christian values in the Roman Catholic tradition, and provide for positive character development.

Every summer kids and families have opportunity to spend time together, communicate in Lithuanian, share experiences and expand their circle of friends during different summer weeks. "Neringa" offers separate time for lithuanian and english speaking kids, families with younger children have opportunity to spend time together as well, youth have a separate week to bond and share, and adults can spend 8 "Art Days" at the end of the summer.

In 2013 KFF helped to replace roofs for 6 camper cabins as well as the "Art House." In 2014 and 2015 25 children each year got a chance to experience the camp because of KFF. In addition, it helped 3 more families to spend a week at "Neringa" during the family camp.
