Three KFF team members, NY office director Neila Baumiliene, Vilnius office director Agne Vertelkaite and AKGP and website manager Ginte Genender spent two inspiring weeks of networking, learning, and growing with the virtual American Express Leadership Academy at Thunderbird.
Every year, the American Express Leadership Academy takes emerging leaders from non-profit/non-governmental organizations and helps them become more effective leaders, allowing them not only to have an increased impact on their organization, but also to teach others how to be more effective leaders.

Intense workshops required to put emotional intelligence at work while providing valuable soft and technical skills. An environment where leaders from around the world felt comfortable to share their most vulnerable issues, reminded us all of the necessity to continue developing a global mindset and lead with the open mind, as well as open heart. Academy professors with the extensive expertise in global management provided valuable tips while clarifying our vision, shared significant resources, and offered exclusive mentorship throughout continuous projects.
