Application process to become an ASSIST scholar for the year 2017/2018 is open and available to all students currently in the 10th grade. ASSIST Lithuania was established to help young Lithuanian students who would like to spend one year as exchange students in the United States as 11th graders.
American schools are generous in offering scholarships to ASSIST students. Throughout their time in Lithuania, ASSIST has identified sponsors to help students and their families pay for the cost of participating in the program. In addition to the Kazickas Family, Lithuanian alumni and American donors support deserving Scholars. Now the U.S. Embassy is also stepping forward to help fund students who would otherwise not be able to accept their scholarships.
ASSIST seeks to enroll the most talented and ambitious students from more than twenty countries. The most significant cost of joining the program is the tuition charged at American independent schools, but through ASSIST partnerships with member schools, they grant generous scholarships to make the program accessible to the families. ASSIST Scholars from Lithuania do not pay any tuition fees.
