The Kazickas Family Foundation and ASSIST (American Secondary Schools for International Students and Teachers) announce application process for ASSIST 2018-2019 Scholarship candidates.
For the 14th year in a row the Kazickas Family Foundation together with ASSIST invite 10th grade students from Lithuania to submit applications for a chance to receive one-year scholarships in American independent secondary schools. Foundation provides three scholarships, while additional three are offered by ASSIST, its supporters and ASSIST Alumni. At least six students will receive an opportunity to study for one year (junior year) at the American Private Schools. Together with the Davis Foundation scholarships currently there are seven Lithuanian students studying at such schools. Students study in the States for 10 months and then return to their home countries – scholarships are not renewable. Students must remain in the U.S. for the full ten months, spending vacations and holidays with their American host families, and then must return to their home countries following their ASSIST year to complete their native high schools.
