ASSIST Lithuania 2014-2015 school year competition ended in January. English language proficiency test held in December, gave 39 students a right to compete for 6 spots in best boarding schools of the United States of America for one academic year as exhange students.
On January 25th, final interview took place at the University of Vilnius. Students were hightly evaluated for their English language knowledge, communication skills and academic achievements. Martin Milne, ASSIST vicepresident, Woody Rutter, member of the Board of Directors of ASSIST, Aukse Jurkute, first alumna of the ASSIST Lithuania were in the selection committee. Up until 2014, Mr.Rutter established 10 scholarships for students from Lithuania, KFF - 30, ASSIST Lithuania Alumni - 5 scholarships (three by Mindaugas Juozaitis, one each by Auksė Jurkutė and Andrius Kavoliūnas). Yearly meeting of the ASSIST Lithuania sponsors, directors, alumni and new recipients took place at the Kazickas Residence in Vilnius on January 25, 2014.
