The Basketball Power co-founder has no doubt that Independence is the most important thing for Lithuania and Basketball Power program helps Lithuania to make it a better place!
I am very proud of my family history, of being Lithuanian. To me, it means being a part of a community of people who are strong-willed and resilient. The most important thing about Lithuania to me is our independence. Reflecting on the 100th Anniversary of Lithuania’s Independence, it is important to me that future generations can always call this country home.
Basketball Power, to me, means helping each other to build a better Lithuania, regardless of background or economic status. In five years, I hope to see Basketball Power grow larger and more impactful. We have amazing coaches who are making a big impact and reaching more and more children every year. To all BP participants, I’d like to say that we are so happy to have you be part of our program! Lithuanians are some of the strongest people I know! You can achieve so much if you believe in yourself.
