Lithuanian Language Proficiency/Level Test for Juniors (born in 2004 and older) will be held in NYC on Saturday, March 17th, 2018. This is the third such test in Lithuania's history. Test will be held at various testing centers across the USA as well as Europe.
The test is a result of collaboration among the Ministry of Education and Science of Lithuania, Vilnius University (ALTE - the Association of Language Testers oin Europe member) Linguistics Department, Lithuanian Educational Council of USA, group of Lithuanian Heritage Schools of the US and the Kazickas Family Foundation.

The third Lithuanian language proficiency test (A1, A2, B1 levels) will take place at the Lithuanian Alliance of America in New York (307 West 30th Street, New York NY 10001) on March 17th, 2018, at 10:00 am. The 4 -hour test with a short recess, consists of 4 parts, including listening, reading, writing, and speaking. Two versions of the test will be available: youth born no later than in 2004, and adults (18+). Both versions contain similar structure, with different, age appropriate content.
The test will be conducted by trained examiners, who obtained the examiners certification from the Department of Philology, Vilnius University. The results of the exam will be evaluated, and Lithuanian Language Proficiency Level Certificate will be issued by the Department of Lithuanian Studies, Vilnius University. The results will be sent back to the candidate within approximately 3 months after the test.
All candidates must register here by March 1st, 2018. The cost is 30 USD, payable to the A. Kazickas Lithuanian School before or on the day of the test.
