On August 29, during the 3x3 Basketball Tournament, organized by the Capital Basketball School (SKM, Vilnius, Lithuania) on the newly renovated KFF-NBA court (Šeškinė, Vilnius,LT), the BE GOOD team competed for their deceased friend.
The team's shirt said: "In Memory of Justinas Kairys (1997-2015). Be a bone marrow donor. Save a life. www.begood.lt". The tournament attracted 73 teams from 6 age groups and fundraised for the social responsibility program "Basketball Power"(organized by SKM, sponsored by KFF).
Very special thanks to Andrius Čerškus, Arminas Vareika, Paulius Mateika and Sigita Stasiukynienė

Translation of the video "Justinas Kairys was born on July 9, 1997. He was a strong healthy child. He grew up enjoying life like all the children. In 2014, when he was still 16, he found out he had a vicious illness - aplastic anemia. A woman from the US became his bone marrow donor. Sadly, couple months after the transplant, he felt worse. He always believed he would recover, though. After a long battle, Justinas passed away on July 19, 2015. When we need bone marrow transplant, Lithuanians need help from other Lithuanians. The closer the donor, the better the chance of survival. Do not wait for the next week when there is less work and more time, someone needs bone marrow NOW and he/she can not wait. Let's help each other. More about being a donor "wwww.kraujas.lt" "
