It was a remarkable afternoon for the KFF Basketball Power children. The usual practice was replaced by a visit to the Lietuvos Rytas Arena, where they met some of the most ingenious coaches - The Original Harlem Globetrotters.
Known worldwide as the "Ambassadors of Goodwill"™, the iconic Harlem Globetrotters travel with their new community outreach program, "The ABCs of Bullying Prevention," in an effort to impact schools and communities around the world. Two of their Ambassadors, Ace and Bucket, shared the story of The Original Harlem Globetrotters, all the obstacles they had to overcome to be at the place they are today and encouraged children to participate in "The ABCs of Bullying Prevention" discussion. Later on, kids had an opportunity to shed some sweat in some exciting basketball drills. This event would not have happened without the assistance of the U.S. Embassy Vilnius and Campaign „Už saugią Lietuvą“/"For a Safe Lithuania"!
