"Basketball Power" Children at Summer Camp in Karkle

Thirteen boys and six girls from the "Basketball Power" program (founded by the Kazickas Family Foundation) had an opportunity to spend ten days at the Basketball Summer Camp in Karkle together with more than three hundred children from all around Lithuania.
"At first, Basketball Power children were nervous because of the new environment. For the majority of kids, it was their first camp experience ever. The fact that we had 6 girls was amazing. They won the cleanest room contest, few medals in sports competitions and performed a beautiful dance for the camp closing ceremony. It was such a pleasure to observe how girls bonded over this new experience. Day by day I was admiring how children managed to create new friendships, adapted to the environment, HAD FUN and were SMILING," shared his excitment coach and program's manager Arminas Vareika.
