For the second year in a row bell music sounds at the Pazaislis Music Festival. "The Sounding Stories of the Bells," initiated by the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Lithuania Bert van der Lingen and sponsored by the Kazickas Family Foundation and the Netherlands Embassy in Vilnius can be heard during nine different concerts in five different towns in Lithuania.
The organizers were excited to share that in 2017 they were able to continue their collaboration regarding the Dutch carillonists concerts in Lithuania. This year project grew and it reaches now not only audience of Vilnius, Kaunas and Klaipėda but also few smaller cities of Lithuania. As following the Dutch traditions, besides carillon, organ music concerts will be organised. The other beautiful aspect of international collaboration that started last year is that these Dutch musicians included into their repertoire pieces by Lithuanian composers. They already performed these special arrangements in the Netherlands and in summer 2017 Lithuanian audience will have an opportunity to hear them.
Three concerts by world famous carillonist Auke de Boer were already greeted with excitment in Kaunas, Vilnius and Siauliai in June.
