On March 14, 2020 Kaunas University of Technology Faculty of Informatics will host Dr. J. P. Kazickas Computer Science Forum for school students where the most talented boys and girls will compete in programming, IT applications, multi media and program development.
Since 1998 Kaunas University of Technology together with the Kazickas Family Foundation host contests in two stages. During the first stage, younger students (grade 5-8) compete in IT application contest and older ones in programming contest at the regional events in Dzukija, Aukstaitija, Suvalkija, Zemaitija and Kaunas region.
During the second stage, the Forum, students from entire Lithuania, including Vilnius and Kaunas, will participate not just in IT applications and programming contests, but also in multimedia and program development competitions. Two strongest contestants will be invited to participate in Lithuania's school children IT olympiad final round.
Forum winners will be awarded with special prizes provided by the Kazickas Family Foundation.
As always, IT teachers will be invited to participate in a special seminar for educators.
