On December 7, in Budapest, the Institute of International Education's European Office presented the 2015 IIE Europe Award for Excellence to Robert Stanley to recognize his accomplishments in promoting closer educational relations between the United States and countries in various world regions including Europe through his leadership of ASSIST.

Kazickas Family Foundation has been supporting ASSIST scholars since 2003. Three students, sponsored by KFF, are studying at various US independent schools this school year.
"While it may have my name on it, the award is meant for all who work for ASSIST, volunteer for ASSIST, and help to Fund ASSIST. I was in Budapest on Tuesday evening to accept this on all of our behalves," shares Mr. Stanley.
Bob Stanley is the President of ASSIST (American Secondary Schools for International Students and Teachers), a nonprofit, international educational and cultural exchange organization based in the United States, which is active in more than twenty countries around the globe. The core work of ASSIST is to identify, place, and support outstanding international students on one-year scholarships at leading American independent secondary schools.
