The Kazickas Family Foundation was one of the sponsors of the Celebration of the 100th Anniversary of Restoration of Independence of the Republic of Lithuania in JW Marriot Essex House in NYC on February 16th, 2018.
The board of the Lithuanian Community of NYC organized the event. Rolandas Kriščiūnas, Ambassador of Lithuania to the United States of America and Mexico, Julius Pranevičius, Consul General of the Republic of Lithuania in New York, Tomas Venclova, Lithuanian poet, scholar and philologist, and Dr. Vydas Dolinskas, director of the Palace of Grand Dukes of Lithuania, were among the honorary guests. Musical performance was carried out by “Tolimi Aidai” men’s a cappella singing ensemble from Southern California. The event was attended by 300 people. The director of NYC bureau Neila Baumiliene and family represented KFF.
