The Drs. Vaclovas and Stefanija Čepukėnas Scholarship is already open for applications. Offered by Vytautas Magnus University, the scholarship supports talented students striving to deepen their knowledge of the French language and Francophone culture.
Named in honor of devoted patriots and esteemed academics Drs. Vaclovas and Stefanija Čepukėnas, it was initiated by Neila Baumilienė, an alumna of Vytautas Magnus University and the Executive Director of the New York Office of the Kazickas Family Foundation. The daughters of Mr and Mrs Čepukėnas, Rasa and Milda, also financially contribute to the initiative.
The scholarship targets the students who are not only passionate about the French language and culture, but are also active in or organize civic, social, community activities related to the French and/or Francophone culture, as well as engage in scientific and/or scholarly promotion or artistic activities in this field.
