Emergency Medicine Association, Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, Department of Disaster Medicine and Emergency Medicine Clinic are inviting to the Emergency medicine Conference in Kaunas, Lithuania on April 19-20, 2018.
First physicians graduate Emergency Medicine residency program in Lithuania.
Five years ago in the middle of nowhere, EM residency program was established in Lithuania. Today with the mentors, teachers, supporters, and graduates Kaunas city Lithuanian team and invited speakers (Judith Tintinalli, Jim Holliman, Terrence Mulligan, Gary Gaddis, Lisa Moreno-Walton and other giants) prepared three days of workshops and lectures.
Professionals from Lithuania and many other countries that consult or work in Emergency medicine area will present their work, research and findings during the lectures and workshops.
The Kazickas Family Foundation has been supporting a 7 step program, exposing 24 Lithuanian Physicians training in the specialty of Emergency Medicine about how to manage and direct Emergency Medicine Departments in community hospitals. Ten young residents from Lithuania already went through training with Emergency medicine doctor Herb Loyd, head of Emergency medicine at Cincinnati hospital Kurt Knochel and their incredible team of experts.
