The Department of Emergency Medicine in Kaunas Hospital of the University of Medical Sciences, had guests from the Lithuanian TV News channel.
The journalists were interested in a group of first graduates of the Emergency medicine in Lithuania. In addition to having spent eleven years studying, the graduates received additional help while acquiring education of International standards. KFF has been in part sponsoring their six week internship in the “ER Medicine cradle” in Cincinnati, OH. The graduates from Kaunas were ambitious enough to take ER International test in Belgium and all five passed it. We are very proud of them and we are sure, that very soon, the Lithuanian people will be proud of them, too. Full TV news report is in Lithuanian only.
