First Ever Lithuanian Language Proficiency/Level Test for Juniors Took Place

This is a perfect example of Global Lithuania: one of the greatest educational achievements of a collaboration between the Lithuanians in the diaspora and in Lithuania!!!
Lithuanian Language Proficiency/Level Test for Juniors (born in 2002 and older) was held in the Lithuanian Alliance of America/SLA in NYC on Sunday, April 17th. The test, initiated by the Kazickas Family Foundation, sponsored by the Ministry of Education and Science of LT and created by the University of Vilnius was taken by 17 young people from NY, NJ and PA. Julius Pranevicius, Consul General of Lithuania to NY made an inspirational speech congratulating the participants of the first of the kind test in Lithuania's History.
