While there are many ways to celebrate the Independence Day, here in the Kazickas Family Foundation, let us celebrate it together with the present recipients of the Ellis Island Medal of Honor, while remembering the former ones also!
Founded in 1986, it is presented annually at this time of the year to about one hundred individuals whose accomplishments in their field and inspired service to our nation are cause for celebration. The Medal has been officially recognized by both Houses of Congress as one of our nation’s most prestigious awards and is annually memorialized in the Congressional Record.
