“Basketball Power” program, supported by Kazickas Family Foundation, coordinator Aiste Furajevaite with a help from Alexandra Kazickas Lithuanian School's alumni*, organized an Evening of Kindness in New York for the program. Jonas Valanciunas was the Event’s Ambassador.
Becky Bonner and Chris Ebersole, NBA coordinators of International Operations, Marty Conlon, formerly of NBA Cares, currently of the Avenues, Kazickas family members John, Marcie, Joe and Alex, Lithuania’s Ambassador in the US Rolandas Krisciunas and his wife, Consul General of Lithuania in New York Julius Pranevicius and his family, and America’s Lithuanian community president Sigita Simkuviene also attended the event.
Jonas Valanciunas donated his autographed shirt and basketball. $4,835 were raised during the event and will go towards the “Basketball Power” program.
