Kazickas led his life by such philosophy. As President Valdas Adamkus mentioned "He sincerely wanted Lithuania to emerge from the Soviet relicts of economic poverty and, even more importantly, from the soviet mentality. He wholeheartedly wished that people, especially young, should have confidence in the new Lithuania and new opportunities. Therefore, he generously sponsored higher education institutions, gave scholarships, supported cultural, scientific research and sport projects." For the last 20 years the Kazickas Family Foundation has been working on this mission, the Kazickas children and grandchildren continue the legacy of Joseph and Alexandra Kazickas today.
Siauliai region school student's exlibris exhibit was introduced to the public by prof. Vaidotas Janulis. KFF's N. Baumiliene and A. Vertelkaite presented all the participants with the letters of gratitude and small art supplies kits as tokens of appreciation.
