On January 31st Vilnius Mayor Remigijus Šimašius hosted a meeting with the Kazickas Family members regarding the Foundation's work in Lithuania, and Vilnius in particular. Special attention was given to social issues, especially those of the youth and children in the outskirts of the society.
The KFF sponsored social responsibility program Basketball Power got bigger attention, the Mayor and the Vilnius Municipality members were invited to the program's upcoming events and regular practices in order to give the Municipality staff opportunity to get to know the underserved youth better, to play basketball with them, to listen to them, to inspire them with personal stories. Social Affairs and Health Department Deputy Director Jonas Bartlingas was assigned as the contact person for KFF from the Vilnius City Municipal Government.
