Kaunas and Vilnius ER Doctor's Training in Cincinnati

The Kazickas Family Foundation has begun supporting a recent initiative to bring medical doctors from Kaunas and Vilnius to Cincinnati for various training exercises. The first group of these doctors will be leaving for the States in a few weeks time.
John, Marcie, Annalina and Peter Kazickas together with Neila Baumiliene met with three of these doctors, representing both cities, and learned more about their efforts championing management training in their respective hospitals as well as efforts to increase inter-hospital dialogue. It was interesting to learn that a primary need was not equipment - in fact, the facilities are well equipped with machines - instead, primary need is better management training and knowledge sharing.
