During the Kazickas family visit to Lithuania in June, they visited Santariskes Hospital Pediatric Oncology patients. Pediatric cancer and children affected by it are very close to Marcie Kazickas' heart who suggested an idea of bringing some canine love to young patients.
"The Kazickas family visited the pediatric oncology ward of Santariskes Hospital. With the generosity of Mamu Unija and the volunteers of the Kaniterapinės Pagalbos Centras (Canitherapy Help Center) group, children and their families enjoyed the wonderful love and comfort that only dogs can provide. The children were also treated to a pizza lunch.
Thank you Dr. Rascon and the dedicated staff who take care of these beautiful children. We appreciate your tenacity and thank you for letting us visit.
