Literacy Award in memory of Petras Butenas and his student Alexandra Kazickas presented

On June 20th at St. Casimir Church in Vilnius, Vilnius University Siauliai Academy professor emeritus dr. habil. Kazimieras Romualdas Zuperka was awarded the Literacy Award in Memory of Petras Butenas and his student Alexandra Kazickas.
The award was presented for his lifetime contribution to the Lithuanian language research, developing Lithuanian language studies at schools, teacher and public language specialist trainings and public education.
2021 Award Laureate was congratulated by Alexandra and Joseph Kazickas' grandson Peter Kazickas, president of the Lithuanian Language Association dr. Aldonas Pupkis, Lithuanian Language Association Board director prof. dr. Genovaite Kacuskiene, Vilnius University Siauliai Academy professor dr. Dziuljeta Maskuliuniene, president of the "Baltic Center" dr. Regina Kvasyte, president of the National Lithuanian Language Committee Audrys Antanaitis, many colleagues and friends.
