Lithuanian American Educational Council, supported by Kazickas Family Foundation, publishes electronic monthly newsletter that reaches over 400 teachers from 41 Lithuanian Heritage Schools in the US.
Newsletter informs about the latest news and events, announces about upcoming projects and contests for students as well as conferences for the teachers. Teachers share their useful information and are encouraged by the "Amber Apple" award. Electronic magazine "Times for Children" is published monthly along with a newsletter. It is designed for Lithuanian youth living abroad and provides a lot of valuable information about contemporary Lithuania accumulated over the years.
Among useful information, teachers can find E-center, created by KFF. With a tremendous help from many teachers a lot of educational resources have been accumulated.
E-center helps teachers save time and provides with information needed and teaching resources tested over time. The database consists of curriculum materials, administrative and legal advice and paperwork, links for teacher continuous education resources, homeschooling materials, and much more. E-center is working on creating an e-library.
E-center's mission is to make work in the Lithuanian Heritage schools easier for current and for the future generations.
