The Kazickas Family Foundation joined Dr. Herb Loyd from Cincinnati Hospital and his team of the most incredible people to support international emergency medicine doctors educational project.
An example from the US truly inspires. Wouldn't it be great if Lithuanian doctors learned to become not just experts in their field, but great communicators and managers as well? Only then we'll be able to create effective teams that implement important decisions needed to raise the quality of medical services in Lithuania and to improve people's trust in our public health system. That's why such residence module is so important. It is way more than just an opportunity to expand our knowledge or gain global experience. We approach it with huge responsibility and every day, while observing how on various levels emergency care is managed at the medical institutions in the US, in the back of our heads we plan what we'll do differently upon returning home, how we'll implement the best examples from the US at our hospitals in Lithuania," - share emergency medicine doctors Simona and Vytautas and send their regards from sunny Cincinnati. Young doctors came to the US at the end of February for a 6 week long international emergency room residence during which they'll expand their knowledge in emergency medicine management. It is the beginning of a very important international future emergency medicine doctors educational project, supported by the Kazickas Family Foundation, Cincinnati Lithuanian community and many more incredible people who truly love Lithuania. We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone.
