In September, Lucy and Annalina Kazickas travelled to Zimbabwe to pay a visit to Hoops 4 Hope. Annalina introduced H4H to her brother Peter has been involved with H4H since 2011.
"It was with great pleasure that my mom and sister were able to travel to Zimbabwe this fall and stay with my host family. It meant so much to me that they were able to meet all of my close friends there and see the wonderful work that is being done by Hoops 4 Hope on a daily basis. For my friends in Zim it was an incredible experience as well. Just to have more visitors, and see that more people from a land far away care, provides an incredible sense of hope to all of the children in Zimbabwe. To see pictures of my mother and sister playing with the kids whom I'd spent countless hours with was incredible. And to see them talking with the children on the courts that had been refurbished as a result of our fundraising events over here was truly amazing. Pictures and stories of their endeavors in my home away from home brought tears to my eyes." - Peter Kazickas
