Meetings in DC for "The Power of Basketball"

Peter Kazickas met with the members of the State Department and the Lithuanian Ambassador in the U.S. for "Power of Basketball" program in Lithuania to address social issues of suicide, alcoholism and social exclusion of physically and mentally disabled.
Progam in Lithuania will use a model of the Hoops 4 Hope in Africa. The education comes in the form of 15 minute lecture just once or twice a week, after basketball practice, asking the kids questions, raising awareness about the issues, teaching them ways to be safe etc. The element is vital to the program's success, and very simple to do.
