NBA International Operations NY office manager Marty Conlon visited KFF NYC office to discuss KFF and NBA cooperation in helping KFF grantees in Lithuania with the youth summer camps, clinics and events.
KFF wants to get NBA and ABA Players born in Lithuania as well as NCAA European Prospects from Lithuania to give back to the youth in Lithuania and asked Mr.Conlon for ideas of cooperation. Mr.Conlon expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity of the Diplomacy through sports participation in Lithuania and explained how KFF, its grantees and NBA could work together, paying special attention to children from orphanages, foster homes, problematic families, and those with special needs.
Later on Marty Conlon, John Kazickas, Neila Baumiliene and their guest, Birute Lauzadiene, were invited to the Consulate of the Republic of Lithuania in New York where the discussion continued with the Consul General Valdemaras Sarapinas and Secretary for Culture, Laura Ziliajevaite.
