The Nature Conservancy's Summer Benefit was held in East Hampton on Saturday, June 30, 2018. This year's event Co-Chairs were Beverly and Michael Kazickas with Junior Co-Chairs Kiki Kazickas and her husband Daniel Hostetler. As shown in the photo, the Kazickas family attended the Benefit.
More than 330 guests attended this year's event which raised funds for the Conservancy's clean water initiatives. The Nature Conservancy works to protect, maintain and restore land and waters throughout Long Island. The organization's efforts include protecting bays, harbors, fisheries, wetlands, and forests. TNC has worked on the recent passage of New York State regulation to stop diamondback terrapin turtles from drowning in crab traps by requiring an adjustment to the opening of the traps. Funding for the adjusters was provided by the Kazickas Family Foundation. TNC continues to work towards improving water quality.
