Lithuanian Embassy in Berlin, Germany, had an evening of "Wege Der Hoffnung"(German edition of the Odyssey of Hope) presentation. Lithuanian Ambassador Deividas Matulionis said: "The book portrays Joseph Kazickas's life which is a true reflection of Lithuania's life, its fight for freedom and independence".
„Simon Verlag für Bibliothekswissen“ Publishing House director Elisabeth Simon agreed that life of the Kazickas family from the steppes of Russia to the USA helps understand the history of Lithuania, from its occupations until independence.
Valdas Bartasevicius, co-author of the autobiography was at the presentation in the Embassy, remembering Dr.Kazickas, his commitment to Lithuania, importance of family and spiritual values in his life.
