The event featured remarks by the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska, the President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda, and the First Lady of Lithuania Diana Nausėdienė. During the event, Ukrainian music was performed by Lithuanian and Ukrainian artists.

 

The First Lady of Lithuania and the First Lady of Ukraine initiated the establishment of the Ukrainian Centre in order to create an open space for culture, education, and community services for the Ukrainian community in Lithuania.

 

The aim of the Centre is to create an open cultural and educational space for the Ukrainian community, providing information on cultural, educational, and other social opportunities in Vilnius and Lithuania, planning and organizing events, activities, and employment for children and all members of the Ukrainian community in Lithuania.

The Kazickas Family Foundation has been supporting the meaningful activities of the Ukrainian Centre since its establishment.
