On November 16th, KFF's Peter Kazickas met Skye Wallace Henry of American Councils in Washington, DC to discuss the latest news and updates of ExCEL Abroad Program and "the Power of Basketball."
Peter introduced Ms. Wallace Henry to KFF's program "the Power of Basketball"and suggested two current ExCEL Abroad students' iinvolvement in it. American Councils' representative mentioned that two students, Emma and Karissa, are feeling more confident due to their progress in lithuanian language knowledge and are adapting really well. They are open to all new opportunities that will expand their understanding about Lithuania's people, culture and values. "The Power of Basketball" program is certainly a great tool to gain such experience.
She also discussed new screening of applicants for American Councils' International Study Programs process.
ExCEL Abroad will be opening new application process in early December, 2015 that will run through February 3, 2016.
