Roger C. Altman, Jurate Kazickas‘ husband and one of 19 the Kazickas Family Foundation‘s members, spent few very busy and productive days in Lithuania this January. Mr. Altman, who is Founder and Senior Chairman of Evercore, the most active independent investment bank in the world, was invited to Lithuania to share his expertise and to explore financial, philanthropic and political aspects of modern Lithuania.
One of the highlights of his trip was meeting with Lithuania’s progressive business leaders, the Invest Lithuania, an agency partnering foreign businesses with local set up, and Danske Bank, the largest foreign investment bank in Lithuania with close to 4,000 employees.
Invest Lithuania Managing Director Mantas Katinas introduced Lithuania’s business environment to Jurate Kazickas and Roger Altman, shared the impact Lithuania’s greatest asset, the talents, make on the economy of the country. Senior Investment Advisor Laura Kavaliauskaitė, Head of business services Laisvis Makulis, Investment Advisor Laimonas Davalis and Invest Lithuania Ambassador Dr. Vladas Lašas also participated in the meeting.
SVP, Head of Global Services Lithuania at Danske Bank Rosita Vasilkeviciute shared her observations on Lithuania’s current position in terms of global and European economy with the guests, introduced them to the bank’s work and impact on Lithuania.
Jurate Kazickas and Roger Altman were also introduced to Lithuanian Government officials to continue the conversation on business development and economic growth of Lithuania.
