KFF is a proud sponsor of the Trade School "Sodžiaus Meistrai" in Rudiskes, Trakai region. Six professions are taught at the school: carpenter, roofer, confectioner, cook, joiner and landscape worker.
It is one of the kind school in Lithuania, following the model of the oldest French craftsmanship association “Les Compagnons du Devoir” which runs apprenticeship programs for the trade school. The school established 15 years ago by French monks of St.John order and many of their friends and supporters around the world, is home to 30-40 new students every year.
Second round of applications for the approaching school year is under way until August 1st. The education lasts for two years, on a 50:50 basis from the very first day. For two weeks students stay in school for theory and practice, while for the following two they go straight to practice in the establishment of their field. All students have job proposals upon graduation.
