Student Internships with Lithuanian Schools and Communities in Diaspora
11/10/2017

The Ministry of Education and Science of Lithuania together with The Education Exchanges Support Foundation announces application process for Lithuanian student internships with Lithuanian schools, communities and Baltic studies centers in diaspora for 2018-2019 school year. Schools interested in hosting a student for internship, please submit application before November 30, 2017.

Terms for hosting an intern:

1. Internships available 09.01.2018 - 08.31.2019 (could begin in summer 2018 if school year at certain school starts earlier).

2. Internship recommended term 2-6 months.

3. Recommended average amount of work required 20-40 hours a week. School commits to secure 20 or more hours of work weekly.

4. Host agrees to assign a person who will actively participate in internship program, will perform evaluation according to the terms of organization providing the intern.

5. Interns will receive scholarship for travel and living expenses. You, as a hosting institution, do not have any financial obligations, unless you want and can provide that.

After the first selection process schools will receive a list with all available candidates, their CVs and motivational letters.

A clear description with possible tasks and requirements provided by school will help to make selection process as effective as possible and to select candidates most suitable for certain school.

Requesting schools will select appropriate candidates during interview process with candidates via e-mail or Skype.

According to current experience, one school/institution may receive up to 4 interns.
