The Drs. Vaclovas and Stefanija Čepukėnas Scholarship Awarded to Elija Sigita Masalskaite OSB

On September 10, the Drs. V. and S. Čepukėnas Scholarship was awarded to Elija Sigita Masalskaitė OSB, a recent graduate and teacher, for promoting the French language and culture.  


The ceremony was attended by Neila Baumilienė, Executive Director of the Kazickas Family Foundation’s New York office, and Milda Krivickienė, daughter of the scholarship’s namesakes. Speeches emphasized the importance of multilingualism at Vytautas Magnus University, which celebrates its 35th anniversary, and the continued philanthropic legacy of the Čepukėnas family. Scholarship recipient Elija Sigita expressed gratitude and shared her journey towards becoming a French language teacher.
