The Kazickas family cousins visit to Lithuania

In September, 15 members of the Kazickai family visited Lithuania: cousins, their partners, and a great-grandchild of Alexandra and Joseph Kazickas.
The Foundation’s activity allows the cousins to maintain bonds with their Lithuanian roots, visit the country, network with local communities, as well as continue the legacy of their grandparents.

During the visit, the Kazickas family cousins got the chance to:
- honor the legacy of grandfather Dr. Joseph Peter Kazickas with a visit to his grave;
- attend the Sacred Music Hours — a longstanding music tradition initiated by the Kazickas family more than 20 years ago. Cousin Kiki Kazickas commenced the final concert with a speech where she reminisced about the grandparents’ 60th wedding anniversary held at the same Church of St. Casimir in Vilnius. The audience then had the opportunity to watch and listen to the performance of the New Ideas Chamber Orchestra NICO and the organist Prof. Renata Marcinkutė-Lesieur;
- meet with the young talents in social business, non-governmental organizations, culture, and IT sectors;
- experience Lithuanian holidays — tried out sauna, had a hot-air balloon ride, visited the modern art MO Museum and the Lithuanian Open-Air Folk Museum in Rumšiškės.
