Exhibit, carefully selected by the family members and brought by Jurate Kazickas to Lithuania from the US, telling their father's life story while celebrating his 100th birthday, continues to travel through Lithuania. It presents Dr. Joseph Kazickas' personal items, letters, photos, awards, write-ups along with memorabilia and artifacts.
In April exhibit was introduced at the Presidential Valdas Adamkus library-museum in Kaunas and in June it traveled to Vilnius National Martynas Mazvydas library. Currently second copy of the exhibit can be found at the Vytautas Kasiulis museum in Vilnius as well. Everyone is welcome at the Vytautas Kasiulis museum where Dr. Joseph Kazickas exhibit will be on display till August 13th.
Exhibit will be on display:
- August 1- September 30 in Druskininkai, at the V. K. Jonynas Gallery
- August 15 - October 5 in Palanga, at the resort museum villa "Anapilis"
- October 8 - November 8 in Panevezys
- November 9 - February 9 in Pasvalys
Exhibit will also travel to Kaunas University of Technology, Kretinga, Siauliai and other Lithuanians towns and villages.
Dr. Joseph Kazickas dedicated most of his life to Lithuania. He used his experience, education, business and contacts to help Lithuania be free again and then supported education and brought many international investors to Lithuania to boost its economy.
