During the movie screening A. Damusis political studies center director V. Valiusaitis, Jurate Kazickas, Saulius Berzinis shared their thoughts. Chornaya Padina refugee descendant Stasys Badaras shared some memories. At the end of the event Arminas Vareika, in the name of Lithuania's youth, expressed the gratitude for preserving historical heritage and raising national awareness.
"My father loved Lithuania very much. When I was young I couldn't understand why? But he kept waiting just for a little breeze from Lithuania. He said that flowers bloom prettier in Lithuania and they smell sweeter. He encouraged us to learn Lithuanian, study its history and traditions. He always believed that Lithuania will be free and was so excited when it regained its independence. So we can't stop now, we must do all we can for our country. Most importantly - to love Lithuania," shared Jurate Kazickas.
