KFF is proud to support Men's WheelChair BC "Draugyste" and to continue a rewarding friendship with BC "Kazkur Matyti".
Two years went by since the first time teams met and "Draugyste" won with a mind blowing score 99:11. This time the game ended with a score 79:23. However, that was not the point. "The goal was to show that THEY and WE are just WE. We want to break the stereotypes and stop thinking that disability makes you different that us," shares one of "Kazkur Matyti" founders Julius Bliudzius. „We understand that it is extremely difficult for the ones who recently had to face the disability, but we hope to inspire and support them," he continued.
First 37 minutes of the game were played at „JEEP“ arena. The last 3 - at the „Siemens“ arena during the European championship match between Vilniaus „Rytas“ and Krasnodaro „Lokomotiv“ half time.
Spreading the awareness and leading by example! Way to go!
