Teachers and coaches are role models that lead students through many challenges of life. No question it's one of the most important jobs that has a power to make or break young person's future and affect the path he or she will take. Investment in Youth Can coaches is one of the main priorities the program focuses on. Every few months they are invited to a continuous education seminar where they can learn from the experts and each other new effective ways to teach, to lead and to build successful teams.
Last weekend 15 coaches, 12 team captains and 2 coordinators spent 2 days investing in themselves in order to grow and be the best leaders for their students they can possibly be.
On the first day of the seminar participants looked for new ways to improve the program, shared their experiences and dived into hands on training that helped them grow as a team. On the second day they worked with "Reflectus" mentor Vaiva Stanione to expand their knowledge on methods for reflective practice and its importance in the work they do.
