MO Museum together with the Kazickas Family Foundation are starting a new initiative for socially vulnerable youth. Boys and girls are welcome to participate in free MO educational programs or visit the museum on their own.

Joseph and Alexandra's second-born son, Alexander Kestutis Kazickas, passed away while on a trip around the world in Kathmandu, Nepal in December, 1976. He was 22 years old.

February feels very different this year at the camp Neringa office. Last February, as 50 year prior, Neringa administration was busy processing the applications and planning for summer. And then, suddenly everything was canceled... This year, we know that we don’t know what the summer will look like yet. MO Museum in Vilnius, Lithuania opened a new exhibition - outdoor projection “The Future of Belarus, Fueled by Women”. The goal of this exhibition - to show support for Belarusians fighting for freedom by displaying the protest photographs shining on the wall of the MO building.

"Caritas" Day Center ATEIK is a place for the individuals experiencing homelessness in Kaunas, Lithuania. Among many services, it helps people to integrate back into society and develop their social as well as professional skills. Everyone at the Kazickas Family Foundation is glad to be able to contribute to center's important work while breaking outdated stereotypes and showing how to share tolerance, inclusion and kindness.
As Lithuania celebrates its Independence on February 16th, it makes us reflect on its tumultuous history and analyze the events and consequences. After the 18th century under the Russian Empire and WWI turmoil, Lithuanian Independence declared in 1918 turned out to be only temporary, as Lithuania was occupied by the Soviet Union in 1940. However, its citizens across the globe never lost hope to get it back some day.
