To celebrate dr. Joseph Kazickas' 100 birthday, "The Life of Joseph Peter Kazickas" exhibit was introduced at the Presidential Valdas Adamkus Library-Museum in Kaunas.

Lithuanian National Radio and Television show "Septynios Kauno dienos" (Seven Kaunas Days) talks to Jurate Kazickas about her father dr. Joseph Kazickas and the Kazickas Family Foundation NY office director Neila Baumiliene about emigration and foundation's work.

Ten years ago in 2008 Teach First Lithuania program was launched. This innovative program aims to attract the best graduates from the top universities to become teachers for two years in Lithuania. It was built following good practice examples of similar existing programs: Teach For America and Teach First UK.

During her trip to Lithuania, on April 12^th, President of the Kazickas Family Foundation Jurate Kazickas visited the Ministry of Health of Lithuania. Because health minister was away on a business trip, viceminister for personal health, Lina Jaruseviciene, welcomed the guest. 

Neila Baumiliene, KFF NY office director and Vidmantas Valiusaitis, National Library A. Damusis Democracy Studies center director, talked about Dr. J. Kazickas' life and significance of his work. Talk host - Ginas Dabasinskas, head of Information Analysis Unit at the National Library.

On April 19-20, 2018 LSMU (Lithuanian University of Health Sciences) Emergency Medicine Clinic, Department of Disaster Medicine and Lithuanian Emergency Medicine Association organized International Emergency medicine Conference „LITSEM2018“ in Kaunas, Lithuania where large group of specialists, real celebrities in such fast growing medical area, from all around the globe shared their knowledge and experience.

During the May 3rd LRT (Lithuanian Radio and Television) morning show "Labas rytas, Lietuva" (Good morning, Lithuania) Head of Emergency Medicine Clinic dr. Kestutis Stasaitis together with graduating Emergency Medicine residents in Lithuania - Laimonas Miseikis and Vytautas Aukstakalnis discussed Emergency Medicine progress in Lithuania.

The Kazickas family thanks 22 young Lithuanian music performers, their teachers and parents for a wonderful musical program during the concert to honor the memory of Joseph P. Kazickas' 100th anniversary at the Vaidila theater in Vilnius.

In 2012 the Kazickas Family Foundation established the Joseph P. Kazickas Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Yale to support the Baltic Studies program in the MacMillan Center's Council on European Studies. The Fellowship provides resources for visiting scholars and researchers from Lithuania to study at Yale and organize workshops and seminars on campus about issues relevant to the Baltic Sea region.

On a lovely April 16th morning, Joseph Kazickas' 100th birthday, after saying a prayer during the Holy Mass at the Ausros Vartai Chapel, Jurate Kazickas stopped by at the Radio Maria.
