This week Dr. Joseph P. Kazickas Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Yale was introduced to PhD students at Vilnius University Institute of International Relations and Political Science.
For the 52nd year ASSIST program invited high school students from all over the world to apply for an opportunity to gain life-changing experience and spend their junior year at the American Boarding Schools. Every year among close to 200 selected students, 6 come from Lithuania. The Kazickas Family Foundation has been sponsoring 3 students each year since 2004.
Roger Altman was invited to Lithuania by his wife Jurate Kazickas. During his visit, Mr. Altman met with IQ magazine, covering the latest business, culture and sports trends in Lithuania and across the globe, news reporter Gytis Kapsevicius to discuss US politics and economy.

Roger C. Altman, Jurate Kazickas‘ husband and one of 19 the Kazickas Family Foundation‘s members, spent few very busy and productive days in Lithuania this January. The Kazickas Family Foundation started year 2020 with exciting news that it granted $125,387 to support 28 Lithuanian Heritage schools in the US. The Alexandra Kazickas Grant Program (AKGP) was started in 2012 in memory of beloved Alexandra Kazickas (1920-2011) who would have turned 100 this year.
